question

I have a 96 A4 quattro. I have asked before but cant find my old post but I have to do my timming belt and iam un sure if i need to pull the cam gears of. Is it really nessary or can i do it with out taking them off?? And I need to check and service the rear diff but cant seem to find the fill plug?

LOL I found the old post but I'm still wondering about the fill plug for the rear diff?

Cam sprocket must be removed to change the cam seals behind them. Whether you change the seals or not, the sprockets must be freed from the cams to set cam timing correctly.
