I'm sitting here feasting on my "just aquired" official US S4 brochure. <p>Text within states, "The first production car in the world with six cylinders, 30 valves and twin turbos. Coupled to a sporting six-speed manual, or an optional 5-speed Tiptronic, a recipe for unbridled power."<p>Oddly, there is no mention of tip in the vehicle specs page.<p>No matter... 6-speed for me thanks.

if you look at the individual "S4 Features" insert you will notice under "separate options," it lists Triptronic auto/manual transmission with steering wheel controls.. then in parentheses (delayed introduction)
