Default Should I be worried?

Today after work I go out to the car, start it up, and let it idle for 2-3mins while I check the voice mail on my phone. I then proceeded to back out of my parking spot, put it in 1st and drive out of the lot when I notice a plume of blueish smoke out of my rear view mirror! This is the 1st time seeing this; I only have 1500~miles on the III kit, and the engine hasn't used any oil in this time or prior to the install. The car is running well with the exception of the stated problem.

I stopped at the grocery store on my way home, and when I re-started the car and drove off there wasn't any visible smoke at all. It only happened when the engine was cold.

Should I be worried?

I even blew the lines out with air prior to the install.

Default I think i'm going to change out the V/G seals just to rule it out.

On 2nd thought, valve guide seal wear would normally be evident on warm engine. Damn.

On 3000GT's the vg seals make the car smoke all times, not just when warm... It COULD be possible..

Default Often leaky seals present a puff of oil smoke at cold start. Oil leaks down into the combustion

chamber as the car sits. Once the initial oil is burned off there isn't enough leaking past to be visible.

That said, I would bet it was just over rich from idling at cold outside temps. When you gave it sa little throttle to take off you burned off some of that excess fuel. The S-III tends to be a bit rich ob cold start ... especially at low ambients.

That could have been true as well. I will keep an eye on the exhaust.
