Sylvania silverstar bulbs make any difference?
Hi folks,
I have a '00 A4 1.8tqms as a company car. I'm looking to upgrade the bulbs as the factory ones SUCK! Being this is a company car though, I don't want to spend big bucks on changing the lenses & swapping to a xenon system.
Does anyone have sylvania silverstar H7 direct replacement bulbs? Do they make a significant improvement? If not, what about a bulb like PIAA, or do you have any other suggestions?

I used to have the silverstar's
I gave those a try,and there really wasn't a whole lot of difference in the light output. The light is a little whiter and just a tad better, but for 20-30 bucks, it wasnt bad.

Yes! i love them.
I think they look great, lil brighter, but mostly gets rid of the yellowish look. this much more present on my pathfinder(no projectors). But I love the color of these, theyy don'y look rice blue, just pure white. if you wany high end bulbs, go with PIAA extreme white's, no blue, no yellow, just the utmost white light.

I think so
Just changed my fogs to silverstars today (have OEM xenons). I agree with the comments, a bit brighter but definitely whiter. I will likely change my highbeams to them when one of the orginal one goes.
