*Help*- Oil overfill
Added 1 quart to my 1.8T (7K miles); mistook the dipstick reading (totally) and now I am over the 'a' mark. I do not know whether I was low at all to begin with. Only realized after checking again having driven (without problems). Do I need to go to my dealer in the am?

You don't deserve to live! j/k Shouldn't be a problem if you were down a half. I used a quart by 7k.
in my 1.8t. If you are a 1/2 over, it will be fine. It's better than being low! If you are concerned, just get it changed and don't mention it to the service dept in case there is a cat problem later on.
