Default you should be disappointed with the specific dealership

hold off on your disappointment with Audi until they can confirm your suspiscions of denying a warranty claim.

Sorry to hear the sad news. Escalate it to AoA as the dealer you dealt with seemed to be more useless than most.

Default Re: you should be disappointed with the specific dealership

AoA was involved immediately after the dealership demanded that we remove the vehicle from their lot. AoA calls this a product liability problem, for which they have done 'zip'. That is the whole point here....AoA acknowledges a problem, but they wish to take no responsibility. That is why I am disappointed. While the dealership "represents" Audi, AoA is where rubber should meet the road and the right things done.

Default Why is this an Audi issue, and not an insurance issue?

Why not file the claim with your insurance and take the check and replace the car? Let your insurance company battle with Audi.

Default If the car is under warranty, and a mechanical failure caused the fire, then it is Audi's problem.

I bet in the end, Audi ends up paying on this one. Whether you use a lawyer or AoA chimes in to fix it, I bet you will get a payout or replacement Audi or the repair your car.

You are so lucky that you saw it in time to push it out of the garage! Could have lost your house.
