Just got back from the dealer. He said they just got a notice from AoA that all A4's being shipped now have a new $250 base price increase, on both invoice and sticker price. He made it sound like the increase applies to cars already in transit to dealers, and that it was a problem trying to sort things out for people who already ordered cars.

Didn't stop me. I ordered a black/black 1.8T 6-spd quattro with prem., sport w/ all-seasons, cold, and lighting.

Did they tell you that they just received that notice? The salesman I ordered from told me they just received it the day I ordered mine which was on sept. 9.

I hadn't talked to him in 3 or 4 weeks, so he was updating me on new developments. He also confirmed that brake rotors and calipers are only under warranty for 2 years, and I think he said we only get one free alignment during the warranty.

Yeah they increased it ,oh well at least you get 16's instead of 15's

To be clear, this is the 2nd price increase, $250 above the already-increased 2004 price.

in Canada there is no second increase in price.

Yeah, but the invoice is the invoice. Dealer can't change it without losing its license.
