I've been lurking around the forums for a while and am nearly ready to make the plunge into my own 3.0QMS. Audi has special lease rates (maybe only in SoCal?) with a money factor of .00125 for 48 mo. I worked out a deal of $1k down, $389+tax/mo, 12k miles a year. According to my calculations, the dealer is using $34400 for the cap cost, about $1800 under the sticker of $36255. Is this a decent discount for a 3.0?

I assumem it is a Tip since you are getting the .00125? Or does the M mean Manual? If it's a 5 speed quattro buy two at that price.

SImilar lease deals can be had on certain cars (mostly Tips) in the southern and Florida regions, too.

I'm getting the 6 speed manual. Guess the price difference between 1.8 and 3.0 is enough to keep the 3.0's sitting on the lot.
