Default Don't use the clips to pull out the radio, you can break the clips

grab it by the tape deck and pull it out.

Make sure you have the right tools too! I don't reccomend the all silver aluminum ones with the ring that looks like a "D" get the ones that are three sided or the ones with the red rubber coating on the hoops (the latter are the best ones)

Default I'd be VERY scared of using those. I broke 2 clips on my radio using them

Default Yep!

my radio got STUCK in there because they broke the clips and the dealer had to use some other tools to get my dead radio out of the dash. Now I have a few scratches on the dash from the tools they used. They told me they were going to do this before they did it and it was my only option. I'd get the right tools and wait if you can.

Default Get a second pair of hands

I found it much easier to remove the HU with 4 hands, at least when it gets removed for the first time. You have to push all 4 tools to the outside (left/right) and then pull it torwards you. When you do it the first time, the HU sits kind of tight. With 4 hands, each can push one tool to the outside and then you pull it. Or you have something to stick through the wholes to push them left/right and pull it out. Kind of hard to describe but it works.

Default use the radio keys to unlock the radio then use a putty knife or something similar

and wedge between the radio and the leather part. then pry slowly on both sidez until you can get the radio out a bit. then grab the radio from the tape deck.

what's making it stick is the little rubber pieces at the top and bottom of the radio...gl
