Which is the better SS for the 3.0?
I know AMS has a pretty good reputation, but I am not crazy about the idea of a lowered shifter height (I drive with the arm-rest down). So I am leaning towards the Strat.
What do you guys think?

Well, I haven't had the chance to compare any....
of the other SS, but I like my Nuespeed. The throws are much shorter. Especially 5th, it doesn't feel like you're going to punch through the dash. 
I think the AMS one might have shorter throws but I'm not sure. Good luck, let us know which one you choose.
