Cheap Phat Noise $120 - will this work???
Found this deal but not sure if the VW Phat Noise will work on our cars. HD is same but mounting kit and wires possibly software might be different.
Looking at install manual doesnt seem like it will work but such a sweet deal.

Mounting kit is the same...i checked the audi site...
same p/n's. You'll likely need the $100 cable to connect to the h/u. i think clair is the cheapest.
not sure about the software tho....i can't imagine them having it preloaded with different versions of the software when the hd p/n is the same. Much easier to have you to upload the appropriate software yourself.

ordered mine, haven't gotten a confirmation.
will need a cable if you don't have a cd changer in the rear already.

I'm pretty sure this unit is the same for VW & Audi - just need a different connecting cable.
Software is the same too. Even though I got my unit free from Audi I'm p*ssed at how cheap I coud have got one for now!!
