Default Do A4 1.8T share exact same Tip as Jetta 1.8T?

Apart from the fact that the Jetta boasts 180hp vs. 170, are there any other differences in engine and tip mechanics?

Strange though that the A4's 1.8T CVT is faster on the 0-60 than the Jetta's 1.8T Tip

Default Many.

The A4 ZF tranny is large - too large to fit in a Jetta transversely. Both Tips are based on the same principles of operation - that is all they share.

The layout and some engine internals are different as well.

He's talking about the Quattro Tip, CVT is completely different ball game and technology.
