Does the B7 A4 have a longer wheelbase or is all the extra 40 mm in overhangs?

Does the B7 A4 have a longer wheelbase or is all the extra 40 mm in overhangs?
I kind of doubt that the facelift involved a wheelbase stretch for more rear legroom, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Nasty...I hate the B6s overhang and the B7 looks worse...
One of the things that make the BMW 3 Series so nice and sporty looking is the very short front overhang. Audi needs to copy this as it makes cars look very sporty and agressive.

I sort of agree. The 02 3series looks so good. Newer ones not so much...
as they keep slimming down the nose of the car. I love the chunky look of that year. Still... the B6 is a WAY nicer car. It would be even nicer without the overhang.
