Door locking issue

The remote for my 03 A4 3.0 is no longer unlocking my drivers door.

It sounds like the lock is being released and the lights come on when I push the unlock button but the door isn't unlocked. Pushing 2x still opens the other doors and the locking button works fine - including activating the alarm.

Any ideas?

water in the harness connector at the door jamb.

Scan the Central Convenience Control Module for DTCs.

Definitely intermittant. Worked once this morning then didn't work the next time.

The passenger side window switch (on the driver's door) doesn't work but did once (allowed the window to go up). Might be unrelated.
