Hi, new to the forums here, proud ower of an 04 A4 1.8 ultra sport. Drove my car today just fine, got home let it sit for an hour or so then got back in, drove literally less then 1/4 when the check engine light came on. The car then starts laggin, wont let me get it over 30 MPH, opened hood felt warmer then usual inside. Went to Schucks and had them hook up their code deal. It came up

P0321
ignititiopn distributor
engine speed imput
circuit range/performance

I did some research and also came across it being a possible crank sensor issue. Any advice or info is greatly apppreciated. please help me make my car healthy again!

Hey thanks, so it was the cps but it wasnt broken. some water managed to get in there and short it out, just dried it all out and its working just fine

Hey sorry to be asking this so late from when it was posted but is there supposed to be oil like liquid in the crankshaft sensor ?
