Engine Noise

02 A4 1.8T Q M, 61000 m stock. There is a noise in the back of the engine which has been going on for 3 months but now it is getting louder and sounds worse. It happens while I stop or even movin it appears. Sometimes if im stopped and the noise appears i press on the accelerator to about 2 1/2 grand and it eventually stops. It sounds like a tutututututuut.
Please help

CEL or anything?

Have the oil pressure checked, consider replacing the cam chain timing device.

No there is no CEL

That is whats surprising, nothin is coming up

How much for replacing the cam chain timing device?

Took the car to an Audi dealer, found the problem which is the tensioner on the cam chain and also the cam chain needs replacing. Total cost for parts + labour $2,300.59.
