EPC light, ESP light when on cruise control last night

EPC light, ESP light when on cruise control last night
the car went into "limp" mode while I was on the highway last night...it happened both in FX chipped and FX stock mode, only when cruise control was on...any ideas? All I had to do was restart the car to resume normal operation....kinda freaked me out though!
