Is this a Ghost ????

I found my 03 A4 with one headlite on, at 3am in the morning. It was not running no one was in it. When I went to check it, the rear lites were on then went out ???? The side lite came on.... I am looking at replacing the lite switch, it was raining when everthing went on. It is in the garage with the negitive cable disconnected. One day later only the window brake light is on, I wish I was using the brake....when I touch the grond to the terminal the lights have started going back to normal....my new switch will be in Monday...... Any ideas where water can drain in, the sunroof shows no sign of leaking but is there a drain line that could have plugged???? Help

I have never done this, but understand that there is a drain underneath the ECU / Relay box under the cowl cover on the driver's side. If clogged, it allows water onto the relays and shorts them out. Take a look into that.

I am now comfortable working under the cow cover, there is a drain that leaves will clog. I unplugged the drain used the hairdryer and everything seems fine. THANK YOU !!!
