Groaning on low speed turns?
Experience this quite often when making tight, low speed turns. I'm sure it's the familiar "quattro groan" but I don't remember it happening so often on my last quattro ('86 4000CS). Just looking for other people's observations. Most likely from the much wider tires. But could it be indicative of a problem?

I had described this a while back - seemed to be quattro + ESP
Since your old quattro Audi didn't have ESP, that might be while you're noticing it more now.
I notice it when I accelerate hard from a stop with the wheels already turned.

"Groaning" needs to be further defined
But, if the sound that you are hearing is getting worse you should be concerned.
Is the sound all over or more from front or rear?
If there is any doubt, go test drive another car at the dealership. I can tell you that unless your car does not function; getting a service department to compare sounds of cars is futile. I am currently battling with Audi to fix problems that should be fixed with out question.
