I CANT GET INTO MY CAR!!! HELP!
Its a 2003 A4-
I tried opening the car up with the remote and it didnt work- changed the battery thinking it was the remote and it still did not unlock my car.
I tried manually, but my key cant even unlock my driver door, but the key does work on the trunk.
Please Help me figure this problem out- im tired of taking the bus to work-
thanks.

1) You should have two keys for your vehicle.
2) Have you tried all buttons on the remote? Does the panic button work?
3) How does the key not work on your doors? Does it not turn in the lock cylinder? Have you tried both front doors? Could the locks be frozen?
3b) Try some lock de-icer to get rid of any ice and try again.
4) Do you hear anything happening when you hit buttons on the remote? You can usually hear the locks unlocking or locking, the trunk actuator, etc. If not, then the battery is dead or the remote isn't recognized.
5) Is your red LED flashing on the driver's door?
6) have you ever replaced the battery? Is it factory still?
My suspicion is a dead battery and frozen locks. Crappy combination. You can't get into the car through the trunk so you're hooped there...

I have the same problem right now I thought my FOB had a dead battery but just checked them and the batteries are fine. The reason why i cant unlock my door is because the lock cylinder had been gibbled by what looks like someone trying to force it open but failed so now my key wont work. Im pretty sure my battery is dead (alarm lights not blinking beside lockpin) Any suggestions?

Thanks for the idea mayhem100 I ended up going this route using the ski boot bag as a giant glove. Now whats weird is that i would have expected my battery to be dead but the car and all other accessories work fine except the power door locks ???

Do you mean the locks don't work at all, even from inside the car or that you jsut can't opo them with the remote? Can you open the trunk with the remote or use the panic button to set off the alarm? If none of the functions work on your remote then it may be a simple dead battery, or it needs to be paired with your car maybe.
If your locks are dead even from inside the car then you've got another problem and I'm nto sure where to suggest checking from there...maybe start wiht the fuesbox.

Locks and panic button did not work at all from the remote as well as the switch on the driver side panel. Thought it was a blown fuse too but they were all good. Checked the batteries on the key FOB and they were good as well. I opened the trunk with the key to find the central locking pump and WOW there was a pool of water sitting where the pump was located.
Took the unit out and cleaned/dried it as well as the area where the harness and the pump sits. I decided it was a good time to check if the internal graphite pieces were okay and im glad that it was fine too. temporarily plugged it in to check if it would work and surprisingly everything works fine now. longest part of it is drying the foam piece that houses the pump. (threw it in the drier on low heat after wringing it out hahaha)
