I just noticed that at the 80k service you're supposed to have the Drive Belt replaced....

I just noticed that at the 80k service you're supposed to have the Drive Belt replaced....
I guess that's why most people probably have their Timing belt/water pump replaced at that time. Since it's opened up, it only makes sense to replace those items since they are inexpensive.
BTW, this is for a 2002 3.0L. The timing belt change interval is 105,000 miles.

Very good idea to get it done...
I was going to have the timing belt done at 90K miles. I didn't make it and I'll never know if the timing belt would have lasted until then.
They should have replaced it with a timing chain.
