integra in reverse...just started last night, in cold weather...I didn't touch my car for a full 24 hours, and when I started it up, the sound started...

Anything I should be worried about?

Default it doesnt sound like its coming from ur turbo does it? cuz

if it is it might be a blown turbo.. ask mike/rez he blew out his turbo already ..

it sounds morel like a whining noise as if a ball bearing is loose in the turbo. other than that im not too sure.

Default damn grant, if it gets louder then you might have problems. just keep listening to it...

if it is consistantly getting more noticeable, it could be early signs of turbo death. how long have you been chipped for?

Default hmm... I have the same noise ...it's only there in cold weather (not very noticeable) -m-

It goes away after the car warms up. Mine just started, coincidentally on my way home from the dealership (where it was for two weeks waiting on a back ordered e-brake cable that had frozen). Mine is a 3.0 6MT ...hopefully that eases your mind about a possible turbo failure! Let me know if you hear anything about a solution - I'll do the same....thanks!

Default Yup...steering fluid is low.

The symptoms you described were exactly like mine. Got worse after a week. Kinda funny that it's related to low RPMs rather than turning my steering wheel.

Dealer added steering fluid...no "whhhrr-ing" noise since.
