I'm having trouble deciding between two cars, I could use some opinions ASAP
I just got back from the delaership. As most of you know, I think, my car was totaled about a month ago. It was a 2002 1.8tq Tip silver/black. Out of all my searching, I've really only found two cars that have interested me, and I'll list the pro's and con's and hopefully you guys can help me decide, or at least see the light so to speak.
1) 2004 1.8t 6-man: Silver/black, moonroof, premium package (leather, 17" wheels), ~20,000 miles, no sport pack, no xenons, very basic car. CPO and factory warranty left. Small damage by the door handle on drivers side, promised it would be fixed before sale.
2) 2004.5 1.8 6-man: Black/Black, moonroof, premium package, Ultrasport Package, xenon, Bose, XM radio. ~38,000 miles. Already has some sort of short shift kit, AWE pedals (that look real beat up), scratching/grinding noise when engaging gears (which makes me think aftermarket clutch maybe? Clutch pedal also sits a little higher then brake pedal), finger and a half wheel gap (can someone confirm if this is correct or not correct?), looks generally more worn. eBay tires on the wheels. Some curb rash that will be repaired, but otherwise no cosmetic damage.
Obviously #1 is a low milage, basic, virgin car that I would, again, de-flower. #2 has xenons and USP package, as well as Bose, but that fact that it has been modified turns me off a little bit. However its still a USP with xenons, which is a big plus for me. So if anyone would like to comment, I would appreciate it. TIA

If I was getting a B6 today I'd only go for an Ultrasport, but...
if you're literally between just those 2 options maybe the lower mileage CPO'd car just makes a lot more sense.

yeah well...
I mean I guess the ideal setup may very well be...
USP front bumper, zender lip, painted lowers, s4 door blades, and stock (or s4 rear bumper), then your own 18s or 19s.
But that's money

That would be a great setup.
I might get the USP lower bumper mod and painted lowers this summer for my car and I'll be done with external upgrades.
I love the aftermarket bumpers, but I've decided against them as they tend to look good only when running no front plate or with an euro one. Both are not an option in Ontario. USP front still looks good with our plates.

1 sounds better from keepingthe virgin point in mind
2 is a much nicer package. Better suspension by far as well as looks, might be worth it to just swap out the clutch on it.
tough call
