Default Intakes, which one is the best..IYOP. (more inside)

Looking at installing an intake system on my 1.8T GIAC chipped A4. Any recommendations?

A recent article in Eurotuner rated the ABD, AEM, Autotech, Euro Sport Accessories, Evolution Sports, GHL Motorsports, Injen Technology and Neuspeed intake systems. The ABD scored the highest with the most gains on the Dyno. BUt, I want to get 'real world' opinions on the day-to-day feel and reliability.

Default Thanks for the info guys (more)

Thanks for the feedback guys. I posted the question in 2 other forums and the feedback was the same. I guess the selling point, or not a selling point, was to hear that APR still uses the stock box in the Stage 3 set-up. So that proves to me, the stock unit is actually that good.

Default I thought APR stage 3 was supposed to use Carbonio

but that got canned because they stopped production.

Default Carbonio gave you the option so you could use it for big turbo setups, 3" MAF, APR will utilize...

the stock box, which is a great setup IMO. I did a little custom work on mine, may be overkill but it works great, I also added the V6 Ram intake.

Here's a link to the DIY 3" intake.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a4gen2/msgs/583222.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/a4gen2/msgs/583222.phtml</a</li></ul>
