What are the differences between the 2004 1.8t and the 2001 1.8t?...
My new 04 B6 seems like it has more torque and pull than my old 01 B5. I can also hear the turbo very clearly in my B6. I know the B6 has an electric fan, and one of the techs said there was a thermostat that gives a temporary 30 second boost of power. Anyone heard of this?

04's don't have battery covers also, but correct on the rest of the stuff
We did a comparison when people were getting 04's, and the majority seemed to be missing battery covers.
You forgot the 04.5's have the annoying seat belt beeping.
