Hi, Ive recently bought a B6 A4 1.8TQ and on acceleration in first and second I sometimes get a knock which seems to be coming from the centre to the rear of the car. Its intermittent and seems to be more promanent with more weight in the car under load. Somtimes 1 knock sometimes 2, 3 or 4 knocks, sometimes no knocks. Ive never noticed it in any other gears and its only when accelerating.

You can feel it a little bit through the car, best way to describe is it like driving over a stone on realy hard suspension. You cant feel it directly through the gearstick if thats any help.

Any ideas?
