Long term reliability 2003 1.8t
I am strongly considering purchasing a 2003 1.8t with the manual transmission. It has the prem pckg, and cold weather pckg. I've got them down to $28,100. Isn't this a pretty good price?
My real question is how dependable do you think this car would be? Is this a car you can easily throw 100k miles on with no problems? How long does the turbo last? Is the coilpack still a problem with the 03's?
Thanks

Audi reliability
My first Audi - an 84 4000Q, went 154,000 miles with no major problems, still had the original clutch and was running well when I sold it. My second, a 96 A4, was problem free when I got my third Audi, a 95 S6 Avant. I had a few annoying and expensive problems but it was still running great at 110,000 miles when I got my current 02 A4 Avant.
They may not be as bulletproof as Toyotas or Hondas, but Audi's are built to last.
