Mobil 1 15W50

I ma going in for my 30K service tomorrow, has anyone used Mobil 1 15W50 in their 1.8T.

What is recommended besides the 5W30

5W40...i cant find it....but ppl can get it easily in states, i guess

i m just using 5W30 now

Where are you located?

15W-50 is a heavy oil. If you live somewhere cold, it won't work. Buy some Mobil 1 0W-40. All Autozones carry it now. Mobil 1 5W-30 does not meet ACEA A3 as stated in our manual.
