My first ding; update, repaired!

Just wanted to relate my experience, maybe this will help someone else. Some of you might remember a few weeks back my silver A4 took a minor hit on the right rear quarter whilst parked in a lot, only 2 months old. Never found the perpetrator.
Tried paintless dent repair, they couldn't help, Audi metal too thick near wheel well openings. So I polished the paint and tried some tricks mentioned here with dry ice. This shrunk the size of the dent but I couldn't pop it out. Used 3M IHG which cleaned all the offender's paint from my car, but couldn't fix the gashes where my clearcoat had been rubbed away. Even though I have a $500 insurance deductible, it was obviously time for the full-on body shop.
I live in the SF Bay Area. After talking to my dealer and posting here, got several recommends for German Auto Body in Santa Clara. The quote was for just over $1000 to fix, which I must say I thought was on the expensive side, but my insurance didn't balk in the least.
Car was in for three days, got it back yesterday and I must say that the work done was absolutely flawless. I have stared hard and parked in all sorts of light and cannot find any trace of the original damage or mismatched paint work. They used weld-on pins to pull the damage out, and of course sanded and repainted the affected area.
In addition to top notch work, the car went in very dirty and came out with a pretty decent exterior detailing throughout. Service overall was excellent and I would highly recommend this shop to anyone needing work in the area. John the owner took the time to explain to me the process they would use to make the repair and answered all my questions about insurance claims too.
She's perfect again.

Similar dent but I paid $800 for Audi body shop to fix it...
I was sitting on the side of the road parked like an normal car, in a row of cars... sitting inside on my cell phone... stupid livery cab turns the corner and I guess 2 driving lanes for him weren't enough. He wasn't paying attention and drifted over to the shoulder... WHAM! Needless to say I get out and flipped out on the guy... My damage was similar to the picture... wheel well hit but mine pushed in more. To the point where it would rub my tires under load or a tight curve (sport suspension w/ 17" stock sports rims).
$800 later she's as good as new, minus a slighty rougher paint section in the crease of the fender fold...
