Oil Sensor Light
I apologize in advance for the noob question...my wife just sent me a pic of this warning light on our '03 A4 Avant 1.8T (I'm out of town for 2 weeks!) and I'm having no luck using the search function on this bulletin board to narrow the criteria of my search.
I'll cut to the chase...I've attached a crappy cell-phone picture of the warning light. Can somebody clarify what this warning light means? E.g. Does this simply indicate that something is wrong with the oil level sensor (bad sensor, connector/wiring is loose or corroded), or does this indicate that the oil level is low? At the moment, I don't have access to any other reference, or a key to decipher these pictorial warnings.
