Default Oil sludge/synthetic oil/filter

I just called one of the dealers I know, (who also services my car). He called me back and said they now use synthetic oil, (Castrol or M1) whichever they have and they use the new larger oil filter too. This is now standard with oil changes. Make sure your dealer applies these new standards.

I went to pick a filter today; they said they are using the bigger '04.5 filter for all 1.8T's now.
