You could just buy the top of the armrest in Ebony and keep the rest platinum. I don't recall the prices but they were not expensive. YOu can also buy that piece in Alcantara.

I remember seeing pics of the S-line interior that had different colors, they had the top part of arm rest a diff color than the rest of the arm rest. It looked pretty good.

IMO it should look good.
