StopTech (or other bbk) Wheel Clearance on B6

I thought I had this figured out, but now I'm not sure. I thought I read on the board that the ST BBK would fit over 17x8 OZ Superleggeras on a 2002 B6 Quattro. So I bought the wheels. They look great.

When I mentioned this to the dealership, my contact said the offset probably wouldn't work with a BBK. He said I should have found a wheel that fits over the '01-'02 S4 brakes. When I searched again on the forum, I did find a couple owners stating they had an S4 with OZ SLs (17x8). There was no mention of BBKs, B6s and this wheel. Anyone know the answer? I think that they should, and if they don't it's going to be a spacer issue.

call stoptech. They will be able to tell you, and if they can't they'll probably be able to find out.

they have dope customer support (even though you're not really a customer yet, they should be cool)

Whats the deal with spacers..do they cost alot? what are the pors and cons?

I did call StopTech, but they referred me to TireRack. I didn't purchase the wheels from TR, so I don't know if they'll help.

If anyone has experience with these rims, please let me know.
