VAG-COM
I just purchased a VAG-COM cable from Ebay, and have visited the Ross-Tech website. Does anyone know the limitations of the free software versus purchasing the software from their site? I'm just wondering what I can do with their free software and if I'll have to purchase a license to do additional modifications/tests. Thanks for your help!

Free gets you basic logging of channels <20 and you can read...
faults, clear codes, mess with your windows via remote, that kind of stuff. Registered lets you get to some really nice channels for logging and keeping an eye on EGT, boost, and A/F. I'm sure it allows you custom graphing and stuff like that too, but I suck at computer stuff. cheers! Mike
