Or did you do it yourself after you got your normal plates? What was the cost? Is 6 characters the max? Thinking about putting a personalized plate on my new Dolphin.

Also, have you got your's tinted yet? I was thinking of doing that in the next couple of weekends. The guys at NTAG seem to like Pro Tint on Preston....any thoughts?

They just got me my regular plates. The personalized plates can be ordered from the TX DOT and they cost $40 a year. You just pay it on top of your registration every year. Once you get your normal plates, you can apply for the personalized ones and they will be mailed to the local tax collector office and you can trade your plates for the new ones. Also the application for the plates goes by owner (registered owner) not by vehicle. The vehicle gets assigned when you pick up the plates.

6 characters and 2 spaces are the maximum in TX, hence the "A4 AVNT"

No tint on mine yet, I have yet to decide if I want to or not. I had tint on my previous car (dealer did it) but not on the Jetta, and I am liking my A4 as it is. But I might add tint later.

But I did <A HREF="https://forums.audiworld.com/a4gen2/msgs/385959.phtml">two minor mods</A> and the <A HREF="http://members.sounddomain.com/gtakacs">stereo upgrade</A>. I think I'm done with the modding for a little while.
