Braking Problem ???

Just purchased new 2006 A4 2.0TQ (less the 100 miles), above 45 miles per hour and start to press the brake in (lightly) the steering wheel shakes as well as brake pedal? This only happens when brake is pressed softly though. Any ideas? Independent technician stated front brake rotors are warped??? I don't believe it!!! But could be. Taking car in Monday to have checked out.

Is this something that's knowen for happening with these newer car? I have had 02 A4 and currenlty 2005 A6 not problems ever.

I bet a good bedding in would fix the issue
