Not the VAG hack but I removed the city light bulbs. IMO, it kind of looks like an Acura TL or TSX now at night.

There is no "Without the city lights" vag hack
The hack is to recode to settings found in the cars in the Rest Of the World (ROW Setting). Basically turns off the orange parking lights and enables you to use your fogs on low and high beam.
the City lights stay the same as usual.

I guess your equivalent of city lights are same as our UK sidelights?
Can you tell me the trick for getting them out - I've swapped the main and dipped H7's but can't get the OEM W5W city lights out to change them. I can feel the mount above the headlight bulb - but it does not pull out?
