Dealer drove 170km on my car in 2 days!
I left my car to the Audi dealership to replace my ignition coil 3 days ago and picked up my A4 3.2 back yesterday. At first I didn't check the odometer when i left dealer but when i got home and read the odo, i found out that my odo read 3663km! (org. my odo is 3465km when i bring the car in) That means the drove the car 170km+ in 2 days!!
My house is just within 25kms to the dealership. Called my salesperson and let him talk to service manager today and he called me back in half an hour. The reason he/they assume is: Wrong odo(kms) they typed in the customer copy paper sheet!
From the customer copy papaer sheet, it shows the km in is 3465 and the km out is 3467.
Anyone has this experience? They drove 170+km on my car in 2 days is very unacceptable espically i don't know what they did in my car in that 170+km. (eg. 4000rpm launch) Any suggestion that i can do now?

Re: Dealer drove 170km on my car in 2 days!
The same sort of thing happened with me a few months ago. I dropped my car off with an almost full tank of gas and I got it back with less than 3/4 tank and 60-80 miles on it. The dealership probably went to go get a part with it or pick up/ drop off a customer. I complained and all I got was a full tank of gas.

I thought the same thing happened to me.
I couldn't be sure because I didn't note the mileage when I dropped the car off. Now I do.
All I had to go by was the mileage on the ticket and that's unreliable when you're talking about something like this. There's no certainty that they just didn't mistype it.
Lesson learned: Note the mileage when leaving your car at the dealership...
