Default Factory Sport Suspension option

Exactly how much of a difference in ride height are we talking. Also, as far as cost goes, think you would get more BANG for your buck to just get factory and then go grab some Konis or something?

Default pretty stiff suspension with stock sport, plus the reliability of factory warranty

i guess it also depends on what you plan on doing with the car... autox, track, or just street driving. in my past experiences, where i live, the roads are so bad that it was excruciating to drive around with coilovers. This is why i am more than content with stock sport because of the nice compromise between comfort and stiffness. Hope this helps.

Default Factory sport pack is only $250- a bargain. But it says special order only.

Yet just about every A4 at my dealer has the sport package.

Default Re: Factory Sport Suspension option

I'd say it's worth about an inch in ride height.

It's surprisingly compliant. Only a little firmer than my standard B6 suspension was, and nowhere near the skateboard-like ride of the B6 Ultrasport.

The real question is whether it really makes a difference in handling. These cars have such a good suspension to begin with, you'd have to take it to the track to find out.

I didn't think it was anywhere near as stiff as Ultrasport.

oem sport suspension is the same as the ultrasport suspension for the B6 and same as S-line for B7.

Default Not that I don't believe you, but my butt says different...

I perceived the Ultrasport to be much firmer than both my B6 stock and B7 sport.

Are you saying it was all due to the 18" wheels?
