Getting P0299 under boost code.
My 06 avant when I got it someone had cut the back resonators off making the car to obnoxious for me so recently had a couple mufflers put on and first drive home got the under boost code under part throttle. Reset the code and didn't come on for a week than last nite getting on the freeway maybe 3/4 throttle light came on. Car does seem to be much smoother after adding the exhaust. Looked into it and some say diverter valve fixed theirs. A few said possible bad maf and some have said it could also be a bad wastegate which would suck. Most of the posts I found are very old so any help is much appreciated.

I don't have quick answer. Maybe the ECU just needs a few drive cycles to adjust itself after the exhaust mods. The 0299 code is a calculated value based on fuel flow, air flow, throttle position etc. etc.
One random thought however....Partially plugged catalytic converter?
That would result in the code and also poor HP output.
Not saying that's it for sure but just pointing out the possibility. Yep.
