Pricing/Lease Term Help on 2006 A4 Avant 2.0T????
My wife needs a new car and since I could not talk her into taking over my 2001 2.7T allroad, we have decided on a 2006 A4 Avant 2.0T quattro with premium, sunroof, and tech packages. There are very few A4 Avant 2.0T's available here in So Cal, so I will likely have to order the car from the factory and wait 2-3 months. I wil probably lease the car as its a new model and would like to see how the reliability factor is before we buy it.
The quotes I am getting are in the range of $1200 over dealer invoice (not MSRP), and lease quotes are based on a .00185 money factor, with residual of 78% for 2 year lease, 64% for 3 years and 52% for 4 years at 10K per year. Are the residual %'s negotiable????
How do these lease terms compare with your experience? What lease term (2,3 or 4 years) makes the most sense based upon the residual values quoted?
Hope to be a 2 audi quattro family soon (are we nuts?)

That sounds good to me
Here in NH I'm being quoted .00239 with a 64% residual on an Avant for 36mo/10K. I couldn't do any better with any of the dealers I checked with out here. Sedan rates are much better since Audi is doing a lease promotion. I did wind up with a 1K over invoice deal, including the notorious "dock prep fee" and the dealer's own documentation fee.
