What does this warning light mean?
My wife and daughter had our new A4 out all day yesterday. They loved it but had a question I can't find the answer to. They said that a warning light came on next to the radio info screen on the dashboard. They described it as a "shooting star" in a bracket. I can't find any reference to such a thing in the manual. It went away after they stopped and restarted the car. Anyone have any idea what that was? Could it have something to do with Sirius radio, which was being used at the time?

No...it was 60F yesterday.
My wife just mentioned that it came on when the 2 hour warning engaged. May be related to that. I haven't seen it myself yet, but I'll spend some time today searching the manual to see if I can find any reference to it.

Do you have bi-xenons?
I got a weird warning once, it wasn't listed in the manual at all, had something to do with the auto-leveling headlights. Once I restarted the car, it went away and never came back.

That's probably what it was then....
Someone posts about it here about once a month...happened to me for the first time just a couple weeks ago, I was around 5K miles on the car (not that it matters).

i got the same warning light three times
i couldnt find it in the book but it went away after i restarted the car
i showed it to the service people when i went for my 5k service today
they said it has to do with the automated leveling headlights

Thanks for the help on this one
It must be the headlight leveling lamp. It hasn't shown up again and the lights seem to be working just fine. Thanks to all for helping me figure this out. BTW...this car is great!
