I've installed this same wire harness and on immediate completion I was bombarded with malfunction error codes on my dash.

Parking Break Malfunction
Suspension Malfunction
one to do with the front lights

Has any one else come a across these problems, after istalling the wire harness? Resolutions?

cheers!

Hey Guys,

I know this is a older post, but I just wanted to post my experience. The wire colours for the left and right taillights worked well. The only thing that didn't work was the taillights once my Curt trailer wiring harness was installed. Traditionally the brown wire coming out of the box is used for taillight function (lights on). I had no power or signal coming out of my Curt harness to power the taillights. I cut the brown wire coming out of the box and capped the wire with some heat shrink. I then wired the brown to a constant power with the key on. There are multiple spots in the passenger rear fold down compartment with fuses not used that have this switched power. I put a 15amp fuse inline with this wire to protect the circuit in case of shorting. The trailer taillights will always be on while driving, but when the car is shutoff, they turn off too. Now everything works as it should and I have taillights in case I get stuck towing at night and added visibility during the day.
