Buying/Inspecting 2013 Audi A4 2.0T
Hello everyone,
I'm really interested in an 2013 Audi A4 2.0T Premium Plus vehicle listed on CarGurus.
It has around ~100,000 miles on it, has had regular oil changes, and has had no major problems.
I'm thinking the (one and only) owner traded it in since the 100,000 servicing was/will be pretty expensive.
I have a couple of questions for the community:
Back in the early 2000's, I remember Audi's having a reliability problem. This seems to be mitigated in the A8 platform, at least according to U.S. News Car Reviews. Does the community agree? I'm not looking to pump major money into repairs like I am with my 2006 Acura RL with 140,000 miles on it.
Second and final question:
Anything to specifically look for in the A8 Platform that the community has problems with? I'm looking to test drive the vehicle and wanted to extensively inspect it.
Here is the Audi listing:

Thank you all!

Let's see, that looks like a B8.5 A4. Please use your "A8" references with caution...completely different product.
You can greatly limit your financial exposure by purchasing a CPO car from an Audi dealership.

Anything is possible, but the B8.5 (2013-2016) are significantly less concerning than the B8.0 (2009-2012) for myriad engine issues.
CPO would be nice, but it requires the car to still be under the original warranty, and only goes to 100k miles. So would be a good bit more than this 100k car you're looking at.
The only thing I would think proactively, beyond having it checked out, would be it's about time to replace those O2 sensors. And the shocks front and rear if they've never been replaced. The typical wear items.
You might still want to run the VIN through https://www.timingchainlitigation.com and see what comes up. The state of the tensioner would certainly be an item to check on the inspection. There's a plug you can remove to check, but like so much stuff on these cars, it's replace if removed.
