2009, and under normal driving everything is just fine, however I recently noticed when I am accelerating either from a dead stop or rolling that the car downshifts as normal but it's almost as if it slips, there is a hard bang feel where it feels like it's almost skipping, I know this is a horrible explanation. It really feels like the AWD is thinking tires are slipping and TC is kicking in, this is my first AWD vehicle, I noticed my front tires are a little more worn than my back (not needing to be changed yet). No CEL codes or anything. Anyone have any ideas? I am due for my 75K check but I hate going to the stealership for any kind of work, plus I recently put in 4K for a bunch of work (new turbo) so hate the thought of more work needed unless it's something I can do.

Oh and this is through the whole power band, it is not when it's supposed to shift but the car kind of dies a bit when the bang/shudder happens.
