Should I keep or trade my 2016 A4 at 90k miles?

Not a new car itch for sure I liked the 2016 better. Older models are more boxy which I like. The front on the new ones is round. I'm not a huge fan. with the new car you get a lot of new safety features, cameras, apple car play, and full factory warranty etc which is nice to have. Things that I don't like so far, are the small side mirrors, body shape and rattling sound in B&O speakers which is driving me crazy.
I was hoping to get two more years out of my 2016 but given how much I had to put into it it was time to trade it in. The car needed new tires and breaks and probably water pump very soon. That'd be an easy $5K. Dealer quoted me $5k to replace the timing chain and cover, it also needed new rear shocks very soon.
question is would you rather spend $5-6K on the car drive it for another year or two and trade it for $5K down the road, or take $8-9K trade now and put the money towards the new car?

this is true .. if you are having someone do the labour the costs will run up fast. If its a dealer forget it. But to some of us the car is more than just transportation, its a hobby. So everyone has to do their own Value proposition.

Thinking of keeping my A4 for 200K miles. At 93K right now. Who here is the closest to 200K miles...
