Are you saying that 11.4 broke text message access over Bluetooth, or that you used to have it on Android and haven't figured out how to access it with iOS? I haven't tried it yet with iOS 11.4, but with previous versions you had to go into the Bluetooth settings on the iPhone, hit the "i" button next to your car, and turn on "Show notifications" to get text messages to appear on the MMI. It isn't enabled by default, and you only have to turn it on once after pairing.
