Red side assist LED lights

Apologize if this has been asked but how do you get the red LED lights around the door handle to flash in tandem with the mirrors? They only light during system check when I start the car.

Help

They are not used for side assist, they turn on during system check but otherwise are only used for Exit assist that warns you if a car or cyclist is approaching from behind.
