Can we mess around with the MMI software without affecting the warranty?

I have no idea but what I posted about is not messing around with the MMI software. This is an app that installs on your phone and then Android Auto recognizes it and it shows up as an option on your MMI.

The developer is updating the app with extra features in daily basis. Now it's possible to open files (jpg or MP4) from phone memory.

It's a little bit uncomfortable yet but it's a great work too.

Follow these steps:

iPhone (iOS device) version 8, 9 or 10

With jailbreak

Download the APP -> NGXPlay

Download the APP -> premiumplay

In ngxplay just config which APP you need with Car Play. Please, select the options:

enable

mode:mirror

autolandscape

mirror fps: 25

mirror all windows

disable auto-lock

Instead of Android Auto, I wish we could just simply mirror the whole screen on the MMI display, Android Auto is way too restrictive. I get that they don't want people messing with screens and menus while driving, and I agree, but at least while the car is parked or not moving, we should have full access.
