Do it all for<$500. Find a decent indie German car mechanic and that's all you need. Check it.
Add that I had coilovers installed on another S4 and it was the WORST decision I ever made, both in cost and in final results.
FWIW.
This does sound like a better way to go imho...

Curious why wheel size enters into this mix if it's oe unless the diameter is not consistent with the model. Sticker on the door pillar will tell the tale. Point being whether it's 19 or 20, diameters should be the same thereby not affecting electronics/speedometer and easy to calculate-if needing to do so. Another point is rim size should not play into the suspension choice either unless the stiffness of a sport suspension dictates a less aggressive aspect ratio. Adding to this is the road quality where you live, geographic area of the US...northeast US being sucky.

Maybe a bit OT but several here have 'VCDS' in their sig. Can you expand on this meaning please.

VCDS is the software from VAG-COM to enable and change numerous features that Audi provides but hides from you.

The condition of roads in the northeast is not conductive to the sports suspension. I had two great A4s with sports/summer tires and am on my second A6 with standard suspension and 18" wheels. I change to Michelin X-Ice winter tires because wheel/tire sets are too heavy for an old man. I have had sports A6 loaners and many rides in an associate's A6 sports. It handles sharp but is harsh. If the roads were decent the ride would be fine. Real winter tires are fantastic. Stay with the wife you have not the one you want.
